She Stood There Crying

Contributed by jaysoncarter on Sunday, 28th July 2002 @ 03:35:19 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

She stood there crying holding the remains
Of what used to be a family
Tears stream down smiles drained away
Now can you see?

Its all for nothing its useless
All this fighting over illusions
Settle down think it over
Before theres nothing left
Its all pointless so senseless
Killing over imagination
Stop the cycle nothings to be gained
Exchanging life for a prize you cant earn without pain

She stood there crying holding whats left
Of her hopes and dreams
Bloodstained ground blues skies drained gray
Now can you see?

Its all for nothing its useless
All this fighting over illusions
Settle down think it over
Before theres nothing left
Its all pointless so senseless
Killing over imagination
Stop the cycle nothings to be gained
Exchanging life for a prize you cant earn without pain

And we sit back relaxed blind to the lies
That we accept no regrets let the blind lead the blind
And so we go on before long we lose and find ourselves
Two steps back with blame stacked coerced assuming the slack

Pick your poison theyre all the same
Too deep plus too much hate equals too little too late
The life cant be replaced what a waste
Its too late to make up for this mistake

Its all for nothing its useless
All this fighting over illusions
Settle down think it over
Before theres nothing left
Its all pointless so senseless
Killing over imagination
Stop the cycle nothings to be gained
Exchanging life for a prize you cant earn without pain

She stood there crying as the world passed her by
Weeping as it left her behind
One more victim of religion results in
The embodiment of a selfish decision
