Spending sleepless nights restless on my bed
Asking the same questions inside my head
Knowing that they will remain unanswered
Wondering if my love ever mattered
Weary, never knowing when to give up
Crying, never knowing when I would stop
Trying to smile, eyes already misty
Believing it would still be you and me
Forcing myself, trying to understand
Wondering where in your heart should I stand
Still pretending that everything is fine
Still hoping that someday you will be mine
Seeing the dawn, with tears still pouring down
Fixing a smile, wiping away this frown
Holding on, a new hope with a new day
Knowing that by your side Ill always stay
Picking up the pieces of my heart broken
Hoping youd hear these words left unspoken
For now, tears have gone, my sadness resigned
Pain still remains, buried inside my mind
What I am to you remains undefined
A new day awaits with love still confined
