Faded Frayed A deep shade of blue Torn up Tattered Despite being new Worn almost each day Til the fit is just right Always on the surface of this week's laundry pile A staple A classic It becomes the best pair Holey Transparent Then you find the bad tear But you can't throw them out You'll just force you to change And you'll grieve but you'll try what you just cannot do They're plain It's simple Just find some new pants New look New you Cause they don't stand a chance They're worn out already They don't fit at all And patches won't help them from fraying some more...
