What Would You Give?

Contributed by Drapes on Saturday, 2nd September 2006 @ 03:57:58 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

What would you give for one more year
So we could start off fresh?
What would you give for one more month
To be able to call me yours?
What would you give for one more day
To know you're not along?
What would you give for one more hour
To spend with only me?
What would you give for one more minute
To touch your lips to mine?
What would you give for one more second
To hear those magic words?
What would you give for one more kiss,
To hold me one more time?
What would you give? I'd give it all
To have another chance.

When you have a chance at true love you must take it or you will never find anything more true than that.
This is a beautiful poem and i know what you mean when have that chance again you must grab it with your arms and hold on to it as long as you can.....
Thank you for shareing

this was very nice, and well written, good use of syllable structure for beat.

I really love this poem.It sort of describes the situation I'm in,except I actually need to take the chance.
