Amalgamation

Topic: DarkPoetry

She has my soul in her hands
She has my mind in shackles
Interweaved in her darkness
Trapped beneath her dying stars
Deep inside her fading eyes
I tumble into the shroud
Choking cinders of a flame
Discovered from that first kiss
Between everlasting lips
Locked in perpetuity
My mind melts with green envy
Into a fragmented pulp

I breathe with her
I die with her
I breathe with her
I die with her
On this lake of bliss

I watch her unsheathe her skin
Transfiguring into mass
Her flesh seeps into my own
Wrapping around molecules
Choking the atoms inside
I feel her heart in my chest
Erratic beats in tandem
Her lungs close around my own
As I struggle to exhale
Her fingers embrace my spine
My legs intertwined with hers
I lose my balance and fall

I breathe with her
I die with her
I breathe with her
I die with her
On this lake of bliss

This undying eulogy
This eternal construction
A testament to my pain
As my sight begins to fade
The flames engulf us embraced
Our flesh reduced to cinders
Floating skyward together
The last poignant embrace held
The final kiss devoured
Etched into a Polaroid
Suspended high in the sky
Formed of our fading embers

I breathe with her
I die with her
I breathe with her
I die with her
On this lake of bliss
I breathe with her
I die with her
I breathe with her
I die with her
On this lake of bliss
We are one
We are love
We are dead
Forever.
