Grandmother

Topic: goodbyepoetry

Grandmother we hold you in our hearts
You and your family will never part

For you taught us all to be strong
Well stick together and nothing will go wrong

When we look up in the skies above
We see your face so full of love

Youre with us every step of the way
Our love we carry each and every day

You filled our lives with happiness
With all your love and tenderness

Weve learned from you all that we know
In our loving, happy memory you will go

For you are no longer in pain
And deserve the rest that you gain

Youve lead a good life
Youve been a good wife

Youve been a loving mother
Youve been a caring Grandmother

Well think of you often
With love our hearts soften

For Grandmother you taught us not to dwell
And Grandmother you taught us well

Rest, now for you must go
To a better place, we all know
