I touched the sun but did not burn, and kissed the moon while flying by. I brushed a star on my return, then journeyed home to say goodbye
I drank the sea but did not drown, and ate the world like apple pie I yelled so loud it made no sound. I journeyed home to say goodbye
I hoarded fears and squandered mirth I lived where rules did not apply. I walked the air and breathed the earth. I journeyed home to say goodbye
I journeyed home to say good bye, to shed my skin, to face the sky, to stretch my soul beyond my heart, to gather years that fell apart,
to set afloat old words and deeds, to silence all new melodies, for one last breath, a faint goodbye, to lay to rest and finally die.
