His Touch

How long has it been since I last was lifted to the sky? How long since I soared with eagles? How long since I burned like a star? How long as it has been since he last touched my face?
With one touch I am freed, With one touch I am comforted, With one touch I am secured, With one touch I dream of more.
In one moment lasting forever yet not long enough, Time stood still, The earth stopped moving, And I started living once again.
As he touched my face, Slowly, Gently, Tenderly,
Kissed my lips, Sweetly, Lovingly, Passionately,
I know I am not his, Yet I am happy now, I know he cares, I know he thinks of me,
So for this moment nothing else matters, As his hands run through my hair, And he kisses my neck, Yes, right now this is all there is.
With the future so unsure, With wars, death, and famine in the world, Leave me just this moment, Leave me just his touch.
