A rose that blooms in the dead of winter
Is a rare one of that
A star that shines bright on a cloudy night
Is a unique one of that
A girl like you
Is a special one of that
Why are you so special in my eyes
How do you stand higher than all
Its something in you that
Makes me blind to others

I just adore how you are so unique
The way you shun conformity
You take the road less chosen
And I follow you through
Infatuated in the way
You live your life like no other
The way you are so extraordinary
Makes you so pretty
When ever you come
To a fork in life
You always choose
The one less marked
By others
And I hold your hand
As we go through
This path in life

From a road that looks unpleasing
