i stand Silently crying,
Am i slowly dying?
why cant i feel?
why is this life surreal,
nothings changed.
but my lifes rearranged!
around everything ,
that they want me to be.
how is it , i've lost part of me.
i'm not the same
I'm trapped in a cage
dying to break free
before i lose all of me
what can i do
where can i turn
if everyway i run
i always seem to burn
in the fires of self hatred
in the flames of parinoia
what i pray has become of me ?
an empty shell, nothing left to see
Hollow and broken
now only a token
of better days past
unfortunate they didnt last
Silently crying
now i know im dying
no hope in me
this is the last of me

| I believe we've all been, at many times in our being, where you were at this write. Perhaps its the genuine of us chopped up and bastardized by political, religious and monetary "correctness" that recreates us all as "empty shells." Nice write! |
