Your heart only sees what you let is see
and I guess you think you're losing me
But how do you feel
that is the question
and I expect an easy answer
my heart's at risk too
Don't be so selfish
cause I really care for you

Your love I thought came from the heart
but it never did from the very start
and right when I started to open up
you push me away
Lost and forgotten feelings leave me astray

Next time you get close to another living soul
remember that they have a heart too
it's not just your heart at toll
