Silent cries of a tired heart giving out Falling into her winter swansong A life had lived mute and loving To become vacant in the old deserts Blind lifes scales tipped to emptiness Irony mocking through cold curtains of solitude Leaving tender memories to their naivet Distant and lost in faraway times The great void smiled rushing to her fall A lone star now would shine her brilliance An epitaph got written by the stars and the moon Her place at last in the splendid cosmos

A sad descent into emptiness
and finally a place for her in the
cosmos. I hope we all have a
place up there. A well described
picture. Great writing. Truly , Dusty |
