Trying to Feel You Again

In a corner I sit waiting
Only to see you leave
Waiting for you to return
Seems like eternity
In the corner I sit
Waiting and wondering
Are you really gone?
Gone out of the life I once knew
I see visions of you smiling
Winking at me with that
Twinkle in your eye
Where did you go?
I cant find you
I cant hear you
I cant feel you
You cant be gone
But you are
This room is closing in on me
And I feel so small
Im crushed from this pain
Like its squeezing my heart
Your hand is wrapped around my heart
Crushing it slowly
Squeezing the life out me
Squeezing the love out of me
Squeezing so painfully
But
I smile
I remember
Its your hand
Youre soft, beautiful hand
Not crushing my heart
Not squeezing my heart
But holding my heart
Like you used to hold me
Close to you
I felt so safe
I feel so safe
Youre holding me once again
I can finally feel you
Finally found you
