You tell me I am like a drug With an intoxicating affect over you Do you realise you do the same to me A feeling I never before knew. You say I keep you up all night With sleep no-where to be seen You make me feel drunk when I'm around you That feeling is quite serene. I'm no longer a nervous wreck While I'm in your presence I'm subtly trying to take you in I'm slowly absorbing your essence. I always tried to be non-reflective But you make that impossible to do You notice everything about me- You see my image true. Waking up to you smiling at me Is like a cool remnant of a dream You are my aphrodisiac You are exactly what you seem. You taste like something forbidden But I'm giving in without hesitation Masquerading behind my eyes- You are my infatuation.
