One Little Sparrow

Contributed by oneir8dude on Tuesday, 19th September 2006 @ 12:04:58 AM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

One little sparrow flew through the air of emptiness
Searching for the joy of great creativeness

His life was changed and he would not fly
He just sat in the nest and watched the sky

He thought of things and never cared
The bird just thought, sat and stared

His life ever changing around him
His world began to dim

Then one day a lady sparrow came to his side
She made him realize his thoughts he cant hide

These words hit hard in his tiny heart
And his fluttering wings began to start

He never thought to fly to the sea
She made him think that it could be

So he used his thoughts and used them good
Thinking and knowing that he could

So he got up and tried and then he flew
Over the valley and the clouds he went through

He flew and flew and thought he was lost
He couldnt find his lady friend. She was lost

But he flew to the end and made it there
When he landed he wasnt aware

That his sparrow was waiting to see
The look on his face The look of glee

She was there. He thought she was gone
He had this feeling that never was wrong

He had arrived
