You never see it till its gone
But you feel it every night.

If only for that one
One chance to do it right.

What is done wrong
Makes it strong.

If only for that one
One who makes it all right.

Held in my arms tight
deep into the night.

If only for that one
One beautiful night.

After the fight
each held tight.

If only for that one
One who is worth the fight.

Never sure of the outcome
Chance is never fair

If only for that first
First true Love.
