KISSING THE DARKNESS GOODNIGHT

Contributed by deadclown on Thursday, 21st September 2006 @ 05:42:32 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Razors plunging violently
'til words form on my arms
Desperate cries of solitude
unworthy of their charms
Forget-me-nots have their own mask
Disguise themselves as scars
Those brutal tears aren't worthy
of the pain they say is ours

Distorted lines on hostile skin
place shadows in my eyes
The colour's won't come back again
until the darkness cries
Don't think you know
Don't try to see
My world cannot be found
It's only there for those like me
where blood falls to the ground
