within His hands only. May I continue to rest
at His feet.

Shards of debt
shatter, scatter, fall
Broken at Your feet
You'll find me
again...
Chasing after You
desperate, brittle, weak
I will never retreat
You'll find me
again...
How sweet the taste
finally, eternally, unconditionally
The taste of Your peace
You've found me
again...
How gentle the hush
soft, placid, perfect
The hush of Your grace
And You've found me
again...
Once bound by chains of sin
Shackled, distraught, encaged
You paid my ransom
I've found You
again...
Your reign of mercy
oh how sweet love's embrace
Your rain of mercy
How sweet the taste
You've found me
again...
Set me free from the bondage of sin
So I can begin
To live
To rejoice....
Oh how sweet it is at Your feet

In retrospect,
The only way to truly beat the bondage of death is to embrace life and live.
Though a journey is only lived one wrecked day at a time, it becomes something blindingly beautiful at His feet.
