A shutter was felt from a departure cut short Body and sole in tack while mind left contort I have seen a heavy heart in man who does lack Never can you turn to see it, look on and not back
Where in a church I see standing me, all alone I told you many times to reap what you have sown And in the church lie a boy not a man in his shell Its where you always wanted, I could always tell I can not walk forward, cemented down with end A sadness with a smile I loose but not a friend
Dissolution with a stench of purpose in the air I hear the phrase widely spoken but it is sometimes fair Passing down the isle by a mass of weeping trees Faces that have no reason but cry sometimes to please
A short but oh to long life amongst the sane Where fault was never taken and given only blame I am sad to say farewell but with a lightened heart With you gone I could and would make a brand new start
