Will tomorrow be the day
That determines which way
This year is going to turn?
I've surrounded myself with candles
In hope the bad will burn.
I've sat here in the dark
The skies will not allow a spark
So here I've been alone
Praying to whoever will hear my cry
The recipients line remains unknown.
So over and over I've been
Repeating my silent sin
10:04 and uncertainty is still here
Longingly is a word too overused
So for tonight, we'll call it fear.
A fear of never reaching you
In the way I've wished myself to do
Is it possible I could now remember what to say?
At the present you make me forget it all
And I'm wishing tonight it could be a new way.
Or is it possible after tonight
Our relationship could take a new right?
And move into a phase I've waited for?
It's been a long five months, I'll tell yah.
Maybe this time it'll be something more?
Tomorrow night I'll give you my heart,
For our next step I'll do my part.
I hope you'll do yours, and my desire in 2003
Will turn out the be the only thing I need;
-The assurance there's still a 'you and me'-
