Yearning for a Hug

Contributed by sadaddy on Friday, 22nd September 2006 @ 11:58:45 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Its been 18 months
Since you have left
Our loving home

To give it a whirl
To make on your own
To be miss independent

All I can do
Is think and wonder
What you are doing

I pray to God
Every day and night
That he keep you safe

I can only hope
That someday you
Will return

Because all I
Yearn for
Is one great big hug

I can relate to this My daughter just turned 16 and
already I have the empty nest syndrome... and
she hasn't left yet :( That is what I took from this
great piece of work....

I hope you meant it that way because that's what
I felt... I sometime don't get it right... :)

Thank You for sharing

Bill

When my first one left home I tried to look on the positive side and I could never get past , there would be less laundry to do.
You've showed all that daddy can miss their children too.
good work.
huggs, smiles,
emy

we were caring for our youngest grandaughter..and she just ran away..she has a lot of problems..poor little one. She's with her aunt now so we know where she is.. I cry every day, missing her and worrying. My heart feels like it's in a million pieces..but I know it will heal with time. I'd like a hug too..and send one to you (((((sadaddy)))))

Sadaddy~
My heart & prayers go out to you my dear friend. If only you knew how many times I have read this and with each time it brought tears to my eyes. I have three daughters and a son, but my kids are still small. Such heartache I wished you never had to endure. May she come back home to you real soon and fill your arms with the much wanted and needed hugs that you have sadly missed out on. Here's a big bear hug just for you dear friend.
love, hugs n prayers,
Sue M
