Dreams

Im floating in my world of dreams
My keeper never seems to keep
My place beyond this sleep
Or anything close to it
So now I drift
Into a pastel abyss
Im floating through the mystery
And the calmness of all this
My mind a soft calamity
Of things that come to be
My thoughts adrift
In all that comes to be
And all lifes mystery
Seems abhorrent to me
It sits so dreadfully obvious
And painfully deadly
But what do I know?
Im just an observer here
And nothing besides
