this smile is a hoax
i put on a face for everyone, every day
if only they knew
i was hurting in every which way
my love is hundreds of miles out of reach
and he is the only one who
keeps the sanity inside of me
my mother has nothing to do with my life, which is the same case for the past 6 years
i just wish i could quit crying so many tears
my family lives a long a** drive away
i miss kissing my little brother goodnight
i miss telling him everything will be allright
i just look forward to
the day his eyes finally meet mine,
i can finally take off this face
and all my pain he will erase
