A vision of integrity With an old man yelling, "History for sale!" My past compared to a deal My skin turns cold and pale With a smile With a beautiful frown Standing just to reach the light switch But I can't stand against the ground I feel hurled against the wall again And there must a loose end in my head Knee deep in the knitty gritty I wish I could remember the important things you said I don't know whats right And I can't seem to escape the wrong I've been doing this on purpose On purpose all along Love is just a miracle Love is just a disease Love is so important It will put you on your knees Love for myself Heart in a jail With an old man screaming at the top of his lungs, "History for sale!"

I agree: you can't escape the wrong if you don't know what's right. Kinda puzzling poem, but good. |
