Exposed, bare, just standin' there in all your glory
Wearin' nothin but a smile, but I can read that one look like a story
he just laughs, as I stare, laughs that laugh that makes the hair
on my neck stand up, he knows just how to cheer me up
and we kiss, that kiss, I can't even explain it's beyond bliss
and he holds me, with that love in his embrace, content look on his face
And I'm happier than he will ever know...
He loves the smell of my skin, he touches me like I am breakable, valuable
and I'm knowin, without a doubt in my mind, it's because to him I am
He loves the color of my eyes, the dimples in my back, and how I'm silent when I cry
I laugh everytime he laughs, his joy is contagious, and his love is terminal
And he loves me more probabley than I'll ever know...
He's like a cigarette after sex, just one good thing right after the next
sick on him like a habit, that I ain't ever givin up
Just so drunk on his love, he never leaves me with an empty cup
no prying our hearts apart for nothin, we're stuck
And I love him much more than he will ever know
And I'm happier than I've ever ever been before.

He's like a cigarette after sex, just one good thing right after the next
Now there's a metaphor of note! That one line drove this piece home for me. The line is unique and interesting... but perfectly understandable at the same time -- not an easy combination to achieve.
I enjoyed this piece. It is quite a celebration! Nicely done.
