Tribute to a Poet: He Is

Contributed by alison on Wednesday, 27th September 2006 @ 02:07:58 PM in AEST
Topic: Tributes

He is late in his time,
He is strong in his ways,
He is gentle in his movements,
He is peaceful in his unrest,
He is moody in his emotion,
He is bright in his mind,
He is deep in his heart,
He is calm in his voice,
He is humorous in his smile,
He is the oceans storm in his eyes,
He is freed in his writing,
He is held by nothing,
He is embracing life,
He is everywhere at once,
He is never here nor there,

Is he happy?
Is he miserable?
Is he blessed?
Is he cursed?
Is he always at peace?
Is he ever at rest?
Is there anyone that can say?
Is there just this one simple thing,
He is the poet.....

A very intriguing description of the archtype uber-poet. Nice flowing piece, the dactyl stress works well.

S

p.s. he also never pays his bills, or admits his mistakes....

Well .. I think you summed that up quite well, (though
I do like Spike's additions .. lol)

Yes yes .. he is all-encompassing .. everywhere and
nowhere. And why do we love him? Because, even
within the most wretched of emotions .. he is beautiful ~

Exceptional piece. I love it completely ..
