Please Forgive Me For Being Blind

Contributed by evolon on Thursday, 28th September 2006 @ 06:05:45 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Listen:

Im so sorry, i caused you so much pain
I never realized what I want, that you want the same

I told you not to do it, to please let feelings for me go
If I was to leave or stay, out of my control, I didnt know

I never tried to hide from her in you...never , NO
I felt secure, I trust you, thought I was ok and let her go

When you disappeared befor, I was young not ready to settle yet
and the second time, your right, for her I wasnt ready to forget

I never meant to hurt you, I care to much
In the years we have'nt spoke, I fell for anothers touch

All my other trials and tribulations and issues didnt help
God knows your what I need, it killed me to walk away knowing how u felt
I thought I was doing things right, by ending it fast not watching your heart melt
but looking back I see I was greedy and only thinking of my self

I thought it was all talk when you said you carred
I didnt wanna believe when you said no matter how long you'll be there

All I can say is I am sorry, and I think of you with my regret
Thinking all I wanted in my life was there, and I wasnt ready yet

I would be a damn fool to expect you in my life a third time
Im sorry I messed up, Please Forgive Me For Being Blind

we all make mistakes my friend, and it seems that you have learned from yours; i hope that you're forgiven; such a heartfelt piece deserves forgiveness, at least,
