No more a fool do I choose to be,
I wear the jesters hat no more,
The clown who made you laugh with her mirth,
Is walking out the door,
The character that I have always played,
Is no more my want or need,
My love for you, I am afraid is through,
You became selfish and full of greed,
My life is like the big top,
Like a circus with three rings,
It gave me sadness heartache and depression,
I was your puppet on a string,
The tightrope that you made me walk,
I failed with every step,
Your hand you held out to save me,
Is no longer my safety net,
This love has gone, it can't go on,
I am trapped on a carousel,
I want it to stop, I want to get off,
For its become just a living hell,
This jester can no longer paint on a smile,
No longer can she just pretend,
I am feeling down, cry the tears of a clown,
This circus has come to an end,
