I know the blackness
I know it well
I know the darkness
It is my friend
To shine a light
Will cast a shadow
This shadow is doubt
I don't want to know
Are you not worth it?
Would it be a crime?
Are you going to see me?
Is there some time?
Can I cradle you?
Or is that forbidden
Can I hold you
And be forgiven?
Are you scared
Of what might be?
Are you ashamed
Of what you see?
I tell you the truth
Do you not believe?
I do this for you
And not for me
Tell me boy
Of what you know
Of what they told you
Am I friend or Foe?
