A Love

Contributed by Bon on Friday, 6th October 2006 @ 10:21:19 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

A love Forbidden, forged to stand the test of time.

A love Forever, two hearts eternally entwined.

A test to strong, it snapped the steel.

A thousand years to early, forever broke the deal.

A love to last, until the world would end.

A love to conquer, unwilling to bend.

A world blown apart, unable to be whole.

A wayward army, the force took a high toll.

A love so true, never to be undone.

A love so powerful, just barely had begun.

A mistake in the weave, fate comes apart.

A murder in the sun, damaged young hearts.

A love splintered, broken forevermore.

A love shattered, pieces on the floor.

My heart cried while reading this. I find it ironic at times, there are people who have love and toss it aside never really appreciating it, then there are those that found love would do anything for that love and it is taken away from them.

Thus a love shattered, pieces on the floor.

That ending really sealed it. A touching beautiful write.

Great work!
Also love the ending
(correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it supposed to say "too strong"?)
Keep it up!

with much love and regret, for they can't be seperated,
Marc
