Our laboured breath
fills the room
with quiet ease
and love satisfied.
My body and yours
skin beaded in jewels
- fresh salts and hopes
primitive and entirely new.
To love
and hold
your body
is bliss.
We laugh now
wet body prints
on white sheets
and our souls.
hold you again
you hold me again
we love each other again
we are set free.
Outside burns
summer time
the heat
the hate.
The whole world
reduced to singularity
- an open window
and lazy curtain.
It pushed at satin,
at the white netting
- the curtain to pain
trying to break in.
It won't
It cannot,
we love
We're alone.

This is very good; you've hit a brighter chord, indeed, but the pain and uncertainty underlying life is still present, and it gives great contrast.
Very atmospheric and lyrical. I much enjoyed this.

haha wow thanks....but its still not very happy, its more passionate and peaceful, but somehow, maybe because of all your other poems, this write is beautiful but still lined with sadness….I think you should try and write a new happy poem about something, or someone, that makes you the happiest. But truly a heart filling write, and it has a great flow and good choice of words. Awesome!
