Who am I to you?
A friend, a lover or
Just a someone know or knew?
You cry, you complain
Kiss me, love me
But really who am I to you?
Feel me, understand me, look at me
Truly do you know who I am to you?
A friend, a lover or just
Someone you know or knew?
Tenderly you got me wondering if
This will ever be
Something so real or
If this is only what I wish could be
Gently your hands caresses me
Your body welcomes me or is
This only something I can see
Frankly Im tired of waiting 4 you
To find out whom I am to you
A friend, a lover or someone you know or wish you knew
So who am I to you?
A friend, lover or someone you
Know or wish you knew?
Care 4 me, be there for me,
Share w/ me, pray w/ me
Still who am I to you?
Lay with me, stay with me, laugh with me
For real who am I to you
A friend, a lover or someone you know or
Wish you knew?
I finally got my answer
Im not a friend, a lover or someone
You know or knew or even wish had known
Im a maybe thats who you think I am to you
MAYBE?!?!
Suddenly your aware of me as a maybe
Maybe More maybe less
Maybe the one to lay rest with
You say maybe this maybe that
I love you. Maybe?
Maybe happy or maybe your just satisfied
But Maybes thats not me, Ive never been anybodys maybe
The question is who are you to me?
