Time v. Proximity

Contributed by sir_odd87 on Monday, 9th October 2006 @ 03:10:06 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

When you are so far away
Time moves awefully slow
But the closer you are to me
The slower time seems to go.

That is, until you get here
When time goes flying by
As soon as we get to say hello
It seems we have to say goodbye.

Father Time's a jealous fool
Taking time from lovers only
Ten minutes can last a week
When you find that you are lonely

i like this one.. so true... the way everything goes in slow motion when you're next to him/her, and then when you finally get time to yourselves, it disappears... awesome write, well done,
