Topic: ThankYouPoems

I just wanted to say thank you for helping me,
You have brought me through and now I can see.
All of those things I did wrong,
I have been doing them all along.
But you see life wasnt always that easy,
You cant tell by just looking at me.
But if you looked a little closer,
You might find a little girl inside falling
She has some scars and a few bruises,
But you see those were her choices.
She knows now that was all a big mistake,
But the pain back then was way too much to take.
She popped a few things,
Never did once count on her blessings.
But none of that mattered back then,
For she knows not what she had sinned.
She thought she had it rough,
She knew she had, had enough.
She got down and prayed to any God,
Believe me when I say she was feeling just a little odd.
But she knew she was so much better than this,
She was tired of wasting her life and feeling so bliss.
So now once again I want to say thank you Jesus,
For without you my life would be a mess.
Thank you for letting me move on,
For now I know I was such a moron.
Thank you again and again,
For I can now look back and see what I once lived in,
SIN!

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
