i can make you smile
he said to the sun
and the sun slunk away.
i can make you frown
he said to the sky
but the sky didn't answer.
i can make you blow
he said to the wind,
but the wind was asleep.
i can make you rain
he said to the cloud
and it rained..............
i can see the raindrops
blowing in the breeze
i can see the rainclouds
patterned in the sky
i can f eel the rainfall
drizzling to the ground
i can hear the storm rage
and i can hear the sound
of rain
beating on my window pane
soaking lawns of velvet grass
rain
eating at the willow frame
stroking dawns of silver glass
i can make you smile
he said to the sun
