It's only natural that I should want,
To be there for you.
After all that we've faced and all that we've shared,
What else could I possibly do?
But we've both said things in the heat of a moment,
And those things just wont go away.
Without my best friend, life isn't as bright,
My colourful world has turned grey.
Perhaps, given time, when the fires have died down,
we'll be able to talk once more.
Just know if you need me I'll be right here;
Call me or knock on my door.
I once said for you I'd do anything,
And I want you to know that's still true.
In my heart we're still brothers and always will be,
It's only natural to be there for you.

Very nice - and as a Crowded House fan myself, what a clever mix-up into your work.
I've got a poem called "Melbourne" which is a memory of travelling as a child which I include memories of singing to them late at night. I'll post it in a month or two (it's in a comp at the moment).
