Are these feelings true?
Or just loneliness and lust
Sitting constantly thinking
A heart that feels passions
Lights up and sends my heart on fire
Each day goes by since that day
A wandering mind
A lost soul in a cruel world
Wondering what the truth is
Whether I truly like you
Whether its just searching to be like everyone else
This secret longing is so painful
Not being able to do a single thing
Hurts more than the consequences if I told you
How I feel is so complicated
I myself dont understand it
Maybe you would if only I wasnt so afraid
If only this shyness and fear
Would give way to my true feelings
Expressing myself is so hard
I wish it were easier
Now I wonder what would happen
Thinking and rethinking the possibilities, the outcomes
Seeing you makes me feel hopeless
If only my parents werent so strict
Then maybe this wouldnt be so complicated
Why is it always if only?
Maybe one day youll know my feelings
Hopefully youll feel the same way
And my dreams would come true
But that would be happily ever after
And somehow my life doesnt work like that
So I sit here and write
Trying to figure things out
I need guidance on this
But I dont know where to look
So I'm a hopeless dreamer
Drowning in my own confusion
