His Eyes

Contributed by SpreadYourWings on Saturday, 15th February 2003 @ 11:40:00 PM in AEST
Topic: SecretLove

At first when I saw his eyes
As blue as the sky
I couldn't get them out of my head
Founded permanently into my soul
Quiet whispers in unknown language
Foreign that I could not understand
I could look into his eyes
Yet not see a silent plea
I never spoke to those quiet eyes
So mysterious and uncanny
You could not tell what was going on
Few whispers had been spoken
But not enough to understand
So I tried to speak to his eyes
But it was of a language he'd never heard
The language of saying, "You're Different."
Different from any guy i'd met
Secret eyes that did not know
About how I truely felt
Still no words were spoken
I could never find the strength to say,
"You're different from all the rest."
Maybe someday you will learn
About how your eyes impacted me
Unsure of where I'll go
I'll think of his eyes
In times of lonliness
His eyes of blue do never change
Mysterious, I envy so
