" Go away! "
I scream at them
Retreating into my mind
Whispering
" No, no, no ..."
I can see them watching me
They don't know what's wrong
They can't help me
" Let me go ..."
Slipping in and out of reality
They can hear everything I say
But it means nothing
They don't understand
" I want out ... "
Worried faces
An act just for me
So I can follow their lead
I can get better
but I'm not sick
" Let me go ..."
I whisper again
As I fall into my nightmare.
