My mobile phone bleeps twice, Letting me know it's almost out of charge. Not that anyone will call now. Not since I fell from grace
A social leper, I'm left well alone, People afraid of what they may catch. I've given up trying now - I've had my fill, There's no need to show my face.
In their eyes I've crossed a line, My own personal Rubicon, And bonds I thought strong as steel, Turned out to be little more than lace.
My mobile phone has gone silent, The battery has finally died. I'd charge it, but no one will call. Not since I fell out of grace...

Very nicely done! It reads quite well out loud.
One of the things I love about poetry is how the most simple and mundane things can sometimes be so inspiring.....

Nice write mate...
I too have found the silence of a phone can be a useful techique to explain modern disassociation...
I like how you used the last line of the first stanza as the very last line - it's a whole circle thing and shows that even after the write the same thing will continue. That's a good poem - when you take something away with you from reading it!
Keep up the good work!
