i sit and wonder each day
of those things that i have lost
those things that life snached away
those paths i never crossed
lie here sleeping dreaming of the past
or a future without you
but stepping out is so easy
just walk away dont care
never utter a single word
keep silent dont show despair
but silence is a two way thing
remember that
you'll see
you blame the world for all those things
but your blameless just like me
so happy now i am gone
floating into the past
like coloured rose petals in the mist
you see them but they dont last
