A Moment In Autumn

The autumn evening mopes courteously, waiting for the time to draw near, when it will create it's pinpoints of light in the sky. Fall will soon be replaced by another season. Winter will arrive in the near future, in a blanket of white, spreading it's chill across the land. It will draw it's own picture, rising up with an ivory force, as God works his magic in artistic flurries. Winter will return soon enough. But for now, autumn has it's reign. A shimmering waterfall flows dramatically reflecting the echoed colors of the trees, and flows quietly into the forest . Autumn's sun disappears slowly, in shades of pink, orange and red, as night creates it's picture. Fall shows a myriad of colors, painting the earth with it's vibrant shades, as nature displays her glory. The colors fade into blackness, and the sky comes alive with twinkling lights. Now,a veil of darkness will cover the earth, but soon the colors will be revealed again. It is the birth of a new autumn day.
