I will make my way in life no matter, What obstacles stand within my way, I will contemplate my problems and disasters, But will not let them defeat me or even sway,
I will reach out for opportunities when they come, And be there when someone needs a hand, I will try so hard to be a better person, When life is cruel and so very underhand,
I will make the best of what I am given, No airs and graces will I ever show, I will treat enemies with sympathy and kindness, For we all need someone I know,
I will listen carefully when advice is given, Even its something I may not want to hear, I will do the same for others when they need it, Because sometimes life is cruel and so unclear,
I will write down my feelings and emotions, And always wear my heart upon my sleeve, I am stronger for the freedom it has given, What you see , is what you get I can concede,
So with courage, love and determination, I set myself my own master plan, To be just an average type of person, By doing the very best that I can.

You have the right idea.
All we can do is our best, you I know will do it!
You have great poetic talent as well.

Ah what a great challenge you have set for yourself. I, too hope that I do the best that I can...I often fall short :) but I'll keep trying.
A pleasure to read this! |

Miss Sue, you my friend are one of the most courageous, good hearted and inspiring people I have ever come to know. No matter what situation arises you always do your best to tackle it head on and you never give up. I so much love that about you. You are a born fighter and you never let anything keep you down. I ,too, hope to do the best that I can my dear friend. The best of wishes to you always~ Thanks so much for sharing this with us. Beautifully written as is the rest of your wonderful work. Keep penning superstar~
warm smiles & hugs,
Sue M |
