I will discover the secret of love.....
With these words, I found myself hurtled through space at enormous speed.
Unable to physically move my body, I traveled towards the light,
at what could be the center of the universe....
Crackles of lightning, and burst of light appeared, as if I was in the middle
of a battlefield.
I awoke from the dream....
only to be pulled back under
Traveling faster, I saw visions of my past tumble away,
like some psychedelic picture book
Traveling further, I saw....
The gift of life, the pure innocence of an infant
I was now headed for the coast line of some alien shore
Suddenly, thrown through a kaleidoscope of fears and nightmares
"This isn't just a dream!!"
A being of light, replied....
Yes it is, it's only just a dream
It's only a dream, dream, dream
Dream on, little boy....
Life is just a dream,
Life is just.....
Suddenly, a deadly wind passed through me, chilling me to the bone
Before my eyes......
Sex.........War
Love.......Hate
Good......Evil
Creation............Destruction
Suspended in time, the cold chill scaring me beyond belief
"Travel through the door in your mind
In the deepest recesses of your soul
Is the key to love
Time, patience, and perseverance
will overcome the obstacles
that stand in your way...
All knowledge of time will end....
The battle for your soul will ensue"
Passion............Warfare
Fire...................Ice
At the end of the journey, when I reached the light
A being, a voice, I'm not sure what it was....told me....
" The secrets of love
are revealed to all
in time
by god"
"as the door of your mind closes
you will not remember all
that you have seen
until further in your life"
I awoke from my dream, with those words on paper.....
I have no idea how they got there.
