Magick Moments

Contributed by spike on Monday, 23rd October 2006 @ 12:30:36 AM in AEST
Topic: DreamsandWishes

Moments spun from lovers dreams,
Do not require spells and schemes....

No need for wands to focus power,
When hearts grows stronger on the hour
Nor potions and binding charms
While coiled tight in loving arms
Or hexes to immobilise,
When enchantment dwells in limpid eyes....

Lets put away the spelling books,
Cast the quills aside instead
Send parchments back into their nooks
And use the table for our bed
Better yet, go bar the door
And close the window shutters tight
Then let me lead you to the floor,
To conjure passion all the night....

Bewitch the ceiling so we can see,
Our twinkling, far-flung galaxy
Where Aries fans our energies
And Libra weighs our reveries
While comets arc in silent flight
To celebrate our sweet delight
And the mystery that does enthral,
(The greatest magic of them all...).

Damn your good! def one of the if not the finest poet I've read on this site, if only you were English you'd be perfect! (it's something we were taught at school to love Australians but for Gods sake don't let them know! lol) Great writing.
