Slowly seeping in
Poisoning my mind
deceiving
lying with no regret
playing with my thoughts
a dream
what you've created for me
it's not real
and neither are you
yet you grip my heart
forcing brackish blood to flow
keeping me alive
you're like a drug
eating away at me
asphyxiating
but you hold me tightly
penetrating rationality
making me smile
as you surge through my veins
controlling me
an addiction
I'm unable to fight
as you take over
a constant euphoria
and an unwanted infection
I can't live without you.
