Mrs. Kites took me to sea On an old damp yellow cotton boat The wind was red Like the fire she bled From her blue bottle fiberglass coat
The clouds were alight With the songs from the night And the cats tail swayed with the mist Bumble bees back Turned yellow and black As he pulled out his green Irish list
Upon that list was the red telephone Which rang with the bells of the gods Sam tells his tale with utter delight As the rest of the cru smiles and nods
The bee, the cat, the fiberglass coat. Mrs. Kites and me Crammed on an old damp yellow cotton boat Still drifting out to sea...
