Tick, Tick, Tick I watch this world pass me by Tick, Tick, Tick Time never stops or slows Tick, Tick, Tick Watching these days pass me by Tick, Tick, Tick Time has come upon me, like a wave upon the shore Tick, Tick, Tick Crushing me against my mental prison Tick, Tick, Tick Why do I suffer endlessly Tick, Tick, Tick Maddening as the weight of reality sets in Tick, Tick, Tick I failed in this life Tick, Tick, Tick So I watch the clock Tick, Tick, Tick Wondering when my time is done

Sad. Maybe it's your definition of time that is the real enemy.

The poem is ok but those "tick, tick, tick" become annoying when repeated so much. I would let one in the head, one phrase with ticks in the middle and on eat the bottom. So the poem will look better and would be much easy to perceive the content of interest. |
