we've done a banged up job this self-glorification
now lets bow in this standing ovation
Throwing your nose in all thats not true
living a life thats truely not you
setting the theater actors in place
times running short were running the pace
What do you want the writings on the wall
follow this path were all soon to fall
plagued from past mistakes driven to win
slipping under grace were just making up sin
Endless escalator thats set before the drop
all hoping our life was a full crop
beaches and shells death on the shore
showing the truth whats left behind the door
generations grow but the meanings at cost
somewhere in time our morals get lost
Cheap highs and the rush of getting within
following the old faced only with a grin
genetic nightmares something unnatural in root
companyes care only for there loot
They harvest the weak only for there gain
while our hands harden blisted with pain
with out the meak the rich wouldnt be
its time we showed the world what to see
RISE and show stand voice raised in time
lets show that their rules are just bad crimes

Rules are rules and meant to be broken,
Your words ring true and are often so spoken
Really enjoyed this one, yes it is the world as it is, no class, just the haves and the have nots. It is a sin. Enjoyed this immensley Sue x |
