Here's a ship, and a map to write.
Here is sea.
Here is where we drift, and drift till we dream.
Here's a ship and a mast to raise.
Here is wind.
Here is where we sway, and sway till we spin.
Here's a ship and a wheel to take.
Here is sense.
Here is where we stray, and stray till we're content.
Here's a ship, and a map to shape.
Here is sea.

I love the flow of your poem. The short phrases really fit to what you are trying to say. Love the metaphor. |
